Biography

Finn Bucci

Finn Bucci started singing at a young age through choirs and local children's musical theater groups, finding joy and sense of belonging in a community of musicians. He was awarded first place in 2019 NATS Maryland disctrcit for the lower college division, and was a young associate with Washington National opera in their summer program in 2016. At the Eastman School of Music Finn has been a finalist in both of the large vocal competitions, The Friends of Eastman Opera Competition, and the Jesse Kneisel Lieder Competition, and is the recipient of the Renee Fleming Scholarship. Finn will be Debuting the role of Andre Kertesz (older) in Click! this Fall at Eastman, a world premiere of the Opera. Last Season Finn did not debut the role but was the second person ever to perform Johan in Silent Light by Paola Prestini, He was also a baritone soloist for Ned Rorem's Evidence of Things not Seen and was Tripaldi in Ainadamar.
