Myself, along with multiple performers that were in Ragtime with me performed solo numbers at the historic Downtown Hollywood Bourbon Room on Hollywood Blvd.
I performed as my drag persona, Melody Monet, and closed out the evening with my rendition of "I Am What I Am" from La Cage aux Folles.
Glen Hall (he/him) hails from Mooresville, Indiana and is now residing in California holds two degrees in classical voice, a Master of Music in Voice from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music under the tutelage of Peter Volpe and Wolfgang Brendel, and Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Indianapolis under Dr. Kathleen Hacker and Mark Gilgallon.
For his performance as Leporello in Don Giovanni at Indiana University Opera Theater under the baton of Arthur Fagen and direction by David Lefkowich - he was acclaimed “...a scene stealer at times, with his funny quips throughout, not to mention Hall’s mature, bold voice.” –Nuvo Indy’s Voice. “Hall has the needed bounce, anger, and comic thrust.” –Herald Times, Bloomington, Indiana. Glen recently finished a run of the Ragtime under 5-Star Musicals in Thousand Oaks, CA - where he played the roles of Willie Conklin, Stanford White, Ensemble and understudied the role of Father. Directed by Jeffrey Polk, choreographed by Michelle Elkin, and Tom Griffin as music director. Broadway World praised “If there has been a better production of the sumptuous musical anywhere, we have yet to see it.” While attending UIndy, Hall was handpicked by William Bolcom to perform in a concert dedicated to Bolcom’s life and music.
Glen is an avid chorus member and has had the great pleasure and oppurtunity to be part of some notable ones. Indiana University Opera Theater under the direction of Maestro Walter Huff: Lucia di Lammermoor - Gaetano Donizetti; It's A Wonderful Life - Jake Heggie; Florencia en el Amazonas - Daniel Catan; Dead Man Walking - Jake Heggie; Carmen - Georgez Bizet with both IUOT and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Krzysztof Urbański and directed by Michał Znanicki.

Since 2014 she has been gracing stages large, small, and non-existent, dazzling audiences with her live vocals, lip-syncing, and charm.
Ms. Monet's most notable performances include: Broadway @ The Bourbon Room – Encore! in Hollywood, CA; Disco Karaoke co-host with John Barrowman at the Hard Rock Café in Atlanta, GA; Bloomington, IN PrideFest in 2019.
