Grace McMahon
(She/Her) Grace McMahon is a soprano from Wisconsin. She is currently finishing up her MM at LSU. She competed in the New Orleans district for the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition last season. Grace is looking forward to singing Susanna in LSU Opera Theater’s production of Le nozze di Figaro this fall. Some of Grace’s recent roles include Nannetta in Falstaff, Cundegonde in Candide, Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, Adele in Die Fledermaus, and Beth in Little Women.

Biography

Grace McMahon

Grace McMahon is a light lyric soprano originally from Wisconsin. She is currently working on her MM at Louisiana State University with a Graduate Assistantship. In February she competed in the New Orleans district for the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. She was awarded 1st prize Edith Newfield Award at the Musicians Club of Women Vocal Competition. Grace is looking forward to singing Susanna in LSU Opera Theater’s production of Le nozze di Figaro this fall. This past June she sang Nannetta in Verdi’s Falstaff with Harrower Summer Opera Workshop. Some of Grace’s recent roles include Cundegonde in Bernstein's Candide, Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Suor Genovieffa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Adele in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, and Beth in Mark Adamo’s Little Women.
