Greer Lyle
(She/Her) Greer Lyle is a Carrollton, Georgia native and a soprano in the Yale Opera Program within the Yale School of Music. Ms. Lyle made her professional debut in 2018 as a Gerdine Young Artist with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Once there, she earned the Gaddes Career Award and invitation to return as a Gerdine Young Artist in 2019. In spring of 2021, Greer competed at the semifinalist level for the first-ever livestreamed Metropolitan opera National Council Auditions.

Greer Lyle

Greer Lyle is a Carrollton, Georgia native and a soprano in the Yale Opera Program within the Yale School of Music. Ms. Lyle made her professional debut in 2018 as a Gerdine Young Artist with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Once there, she earned the Gaddes Career Award and invitation to return as a Gerdine Young Artist in 2019. In spring of 2021, Greer competed at the semifinalist level for the first-ever livestreamed Metropolitan opera National Council Auditions. Her previous awards include Encouragement Awards at the 2017-2020 Georgia and Arkansas District Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Encouragement Awards at the 2018 Pro-Mozart Society of Atlanta and 2017 Madame Rose Mobile Opera Competition, and Winner of the 2017 Atlanta Music Club Scholarship Competition. Ms. Lyle's previous roles include Donna Anna from Mozart's Don Giovanni, Mimi from Puccini's La bohéme, Zemfira in Rachmaninoff's Aleko, and Florencia in Catàn's Florencia en El Amazonas. In July 2022, Greer will join Opera North for her role debut of Fiordiligi in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte.
