Isabel O'Hagan
(She/Her) Isabel O'Hagan is a soprano originally from the Des Moines, Iowa area. She's currently based out of Washington, DC where she studies with Rick Christman. 

Past roles have included a wide range of operatic eras. Her interpretation of characters is in-depth, and her collaboratioin with fellow artists in intentionally sensitive, and empathetic. And, while she complained about having the practice violin as a child, it has made her a skilled sightreader and speedy music learner.

Biography

Isabel O'Hagan

Isabel O’Hagan is an operatic Lyric Soprano originally from the great plains of Des Moines, Iowa. Currently based out of Washington, D.C., Ms. O’Hagan is a student of Rick Christman.

Her background as a classically trained violinist since the age of 3 has heavily influenced her performance and presence as an up and coming soprano. She has been described as having a “clarity” to her voice according to DC Theatre Arts, and displays dramatic and “comedic talent” (MD Theatre Guide) as she embodies her roles.

Most recently, Ms. O’Hagan has been featured in a televised Oratorio performance, and operatic roles such as “Laurie” in The Tenderland by Copland, “Monica” in The Medium by Menotti, “Adele” in Die Fledermaus by Strauss, “Romilda” in Serse by Handel, “Pamina” in Die Zauberflöte by Mozart, and “Adina” in L’elisir D’amore by Donizetti.
