Isabella Abbrescia’s soprano voice has received praise from her small hometown in Delaware to her current location in Chicago. In 2022, she was a national semi-finalist in the NATS competition in the Upper Classical Treble category. Her most recent opera projects include playing Vanderdendur in Bernstein’s Candide and covering Pamina in a production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. In February, she will play First Spirit in Northwestern’s production of Die Zauberflöte. She is in her fourth year at Northwestern University, where she studies with Pamela Hinchman.
