New Jersey native, Jenna Rose Cipolla, has been performing operatic and musical theater repertoire since a young age. Her recent roles include Jeanette in L’Amant Anonyme (Eastman School of Music), Littler Daughter in Proving Up (Eastman School of Music), and Gretel in a concert version of Hänsel und Gretel (Westrick Music Academy).
As a concert soloist, she most recently performed as the Soprano Soloist in Mozart’s C Minor Mass with Eastman School Symphony Orchestra and Eastman-Rochester Chorus in Kodak Hall. Ms. Cipolla also performed as a Soprano Soloist in Our Voices (Eastman School of Music), a COVID-19 concert series featuring the works of Lori Laitman, Anthony Davis, and Ben Moore.
Ms. Cipolla spent the summers of 2022 and 2023 as an Emerging Artist at the Seagle Festival. While at Seagle, she had the pleasure of performing Young Juana (Cover) in With Blood, With Ink, Anne in A Little Night Music, Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof, Goldilocks in The Three Bears, and Suor Genvieffa in Suor Angelica. She also performed the role of Pregnant Shopper Mom in the workshop of Yeltsin in Texas, a new musical by Mack & McGuire.
As a highly successful competitor, Ms. Cipolla has most recently been named an Emerging Talent Award Winner at the 2023 Lotte Lenya Competition and a Finalist at the 2023 Career Bridges Grant Awards. She has also placed highly in both the NATS Finger Lakes District and the NATS Eastern Region.
Ms. Cipolla holds her Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music where she studied Voice Performance and Music Cognition. She is also a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College Program. In addition to singing opera, Ms. Cipolla is a 200h Registered Yoga Teacher, and enjoys teaching classes and workshops at studios in the tri-state area.
