Soprano and actor Jessica Fishenfeld was featured this season on America's Got Talent as an opera-singing aerialist, “triumphed” (NY Observer) in her New York City Opera debut as Leah in the World Premiere of Stonewall, with “clean coloratura,” (Opera News) and “spunky personality” (Opera Wire), and made a “stand out” (NY Times) off-Broadway debut as a Brünnhilde in Das Barbecü.

American soprano and actor Jessica Fishenfeld recently made her off-Broadway debut as a “bright-voiced” (NY Times) Brünnhilde in Das Barbecü, “triumphed” (NY Observer) in her New York City Opera debut as Leah in the World Premiere of Stonewall, with “clean coloratura,” (Opera News) and “spunky personality” (Opera Wire), and sang Gilda in an immersive Rigoletto at THE BOX Theatre. She produced and performed in Grateful: the Songs of John Bucchino, an "exceptionally well-produced" (Broadway World) virtual concert alongside a dozen stage/TV stars, including Stephen Schwartz, Leslie Odom Jr., and Toni Tennille. She is currently a Quarter-Finalist in the 2021 American Traditions Competition, appeared virtually with Dallas Opera Network, OmniArts Foundation, Opera Carolina, Center for Contemporary Opera, Teatro Grattacielo, and Savannah VOICE Festival, and future appearances include a concert with New York Festival of Song, and Krysia in Heggie’s Out of Darkness, Two Remain at Miami Music Festival/New World Center. She recently starred in several NY- and World-Premieres at Carnegie/Zankel Hall, Circle in the Square, National Sawdust, won a Semi-Finalist Prize in the 2019 Lotte Lenya Competition, appeared as soloist at Birdland Jazz Club, in Helena Symphony's Carmina Burana and Bernstein 100!, with international orchestras of St. Bart’s Music Festival, Xalapa Filarmonía, and Festival Internacional de Órgano de Morelia, and was a 2017 Career Bridges Grant Winner.
