Jessica Ringston is a freelance flutist and Miyazawa Emerging Artist based in New York, currently studying at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College as a student of Dr. Tara Helen O’Connor. She has performed on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, National Sawdust, and other venues among New York City’s finest concert halls. A passionate chamber musician, Jessica has worked to commission new works for flute in chamber music repertoire and is a two-time winner of the Molnar-Harris Chamber Music Competition. She is the recipient of grants from the Presser Foundation, Long Island Music Hall of Fame, and Long Island Arts Alliance, as well as winner of the Purchase College Concerto Competition. In addition to her work as a performer, Jessica maintains a private flute studio.
