Jessie is an NYC based Music Director, Pianist, and Copyist. She grew up in Chicago* where she started piano at age 6. She was not an avid practicer which led her to sight reading pieces in lessons - a trait that annoyed her teacher, but a skill that would come in handy much later in life. As a kid, she enjoyed transcribing songs from new shows before the sheet music became available. She has since set aside her illegal ways and now uses her skills for good by assisting artists in getting their shows down on paper. Most recently, Jessie joined the music team as Copyist for the viral phenomenon RATATOUILLE: THE TIKTOK MUSICAL after her TikToks of creating the Ratatouille Piano/Vocal became popular. As for “in-person” shows, she served as the Music Assistant for SOFT POWER which ran at The Public Theater in Fall 2019. She was also the first Music Direction Apprentice with Encores! Off-Center for their 2019 season. In addition to working on full productions, she has assisted on various workshops and labs around NYC. She has also played auditions for theater companies, classes, and casting offices such as Tara Rubin. Jessie is a graduate of Boston University where she received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She has one kitten named Pancake Kevin. *Gurnee, IL - a suburb north of Chicago
