Baritone Jiahao Fu is pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance at Michigan State University, studying with Mark Rucker and serving as a teaching assistant. A graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Tianjin Conservatory of Music, Fu has performed roles such as Masetto and Commendatore (Don Giovanni), Don Magnifico (La Cenerentola), Peter (Hänsel und Gretel), and Achilla (Giulio Cesare). He also toured China in the original opera Yue Fei, appearing in more than twenty performances nationwide.
