#China Conservatory of Music 2017-2022
T enor Jiayin Wang, Born in 1997 at the Music House in Beijing; At the age of 17, he was
admitted to the Affiliated High School of China Conservatory of Music and studied under
Associate Professor Li Yanan; In the same year , he participated in the "4th Peacock Cup Golden
State Higher Art College Vocal Competition" organized by the "China Vocal Association" and won
the "Gold Award First Place" in the vocational school group; Participated in the National Spring
Festival Gala hosted by CCTV Agriculture Channel in February 2016; Under the age of 19,
participated in the 13th International Vocal Competition for American Classical Vocalists and won
third place. Also received admission letters from four music schools in the United States.
Graduated from the Affiliated Middle School of the China Conservatory of Music in June 2017.
Admitted to both the PLA Academy of Arts and the China Conservatory of Music in July of the
same year . Entered the Vocal Opera Department of the China Conservatory of Music in September
of the same year and studied under Professor Diliber and Professor Ding Yi. In July 2021,
participated in the Jianjue 100th Anniversary Literature and Art Evening Gala jointly broadcasted
by the China T elevision Artists Association and Beijing T elevision. Graduated with excellent
grades from the China Conservatory of Music in June 2022 and obtained a bachelor's degree.
During his undergraduate years, he was invited to attend a music concert in the composition
department Chinese Composer art song recital at Egg Hall of China Conservatory of Music(April.
2022) as a tenor , I performed three newly created Chinese art songs.
Two solo concerts were held in Shanghai and Hangzhou in May 2023. Suit Bel canto Shanghai
at Massenet manor Shanghai (May. 2023) and Suit Bel canto Hangzhou at West lake concert hall
Hangzhou (May. 2023).
He was performed as Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni at China Conservatory of Music Opera
Hall (April. 2021)
In 2023, He received graduate admission notices from six music schools in the United States
with excellent grades and entered the University of Cincinnati School of Music as a full scholarship
recipient to begin my graduate studies under Professor Daniel Weeks. In April 2024, he starred as
Giovanni, the male lead of the opera "La hija de Rappacnini" (the only Chinese male lead in nearly
five years at the University of Cincinnati - Conservatory of Music )
