(She/Her) Mezzo - intersectional feminism - Mozart - Musicians for future

The magic of opera and music, this collaboration of so many people, has inspired me since the amateur opera productions of my grandfather in my early childhood.

Musically, I am particularly interested in the era around Mozart and I am fascinated by the wealth of exciting baroque operas that are yet to be discovered and performed again.

I also work as a speaker, write poetry and love hiking and jazz music.

As the grandchild of a singer, I grew up in a family that made a lot of music together.

As a teenager, choir and orchestra trips (as a violinist) became the highlights of my school year and my love for literature and theater continued to develop after I gained my first stage experiences in opera (witch in "Dido and Aeneas"), musical (devil in "Teufelswerk", Maria in "Westsidestory") and theater ("kaffeecom", "Julius Ceasar").

After graduating from high school, I attended the vocational school for music in Krumbach (Bavaria) and did a two-year training as a choir and ensemble director.

This was followed by four wonderful years of study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy in Leipzig in the classes of Prof. Carola Guber and Prof. Caroline Stein.

Having a special love for baroque opera, I met the Kuijken family in 2018 during La petite Bande Summeracademy.

Since then, I have been working closely musically with Marie and Sigiswald Kuijken, specializing in theatrical gestures related to Italian diction of the Settecento.

Through my participation in the excellence program "Barock Vokal" at the Musikhochschule Mainz I was able to expand my repertoire and attend fantastic master classes with e.g. Andreas Scholl and Tamar Halperin.

I finished my studies in Mainz 2022 with Prof. Claudia Eder.

Since becoming a freelancer, I am regularly taught by Neil Semer and enjoy (and sometimes curse) the never-ending journey of artistic creation.
