(He/Him) Jon Marc Olivier is a tenor from Olney, Maryland. He pursued graduate studies at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music after graduating with his Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Loyola University New Orleans. Among the many teachers Jon Marc has worked with are Irini Kyriakidou-Hymel, Bryan Hymel, Luretta Bybee, Peter Volpe, Tichina Vaughn, and James Scmidt. He currently studies with countertenor Bryce McClendon.

Biography

Jon Marc Olivier

Jon Marc Olivier pursued graduate studies at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, earning a Graduate Certificate in Vocology and completing the coursework for his Masters in voice. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Loyola University New Orleans, where he was privileged to study with Luretta Bybee, Irini Kyriakidou, and Bryan Hymel. Other teachers Jon Marc has worked with include Bryce McClendon (his current teacher), James Scmidt, Peter Volpe, KS Tichina Vaughn, and Brian Horne. He has coached with Kevin Murphy, Chuck Prestinari, Carol Vaness, and Kim Carballo at IU's Jacobs School of Music, and he coached with Greer Grimsley, Carol Rausch, and Claire Shackleton at Loyola. He sang in the chorus of the New Orleans Opera Association and was a soloist with the Louisiana Philharmonic. He has been seen on stage at Loyola University, New Orleans' Opera Theatre, Northwestern University, and on the mainstage of the Musical Arts Center at Indiana University.
