Jordan Riek
(She/Her) Mezzo-soprano, Jordan Riek, has recently relocated to San Francisco to pursue her Masters in voice at San Francisco Conservatory under the mentorship of Susanne Mentzer. Through performance, Ms. Riek  is a passionate performer and educator; she hopes to connect with others and portray the vulnerable and complicated nature of being human. Jordan is a recent graduate of Texas Christian University with her Bachelors of Music Education and an early childhood through 12 teaching certification.

Biography

Jordan Riek

Jordan Riek (She/Her), mezzo-soprano, is a first year masters student at San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the mentorship of Susanne Mentzer. Ms. Riek recently performed the role of Meg in the Italian Premiere of Mark Adamo’s Little Women and Dryade in Ariadne Auf Naxos at Trentino music festival in Italy. She also recently performed the role of Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro at Texas Christian University where she graduated with her Bachelors in Music Education and her K-12 teaching certification. In 2024, Ms. Riek made her professional debut as young Jo in Little Women with Fort Worth Opera and was a young artist at Taos Opera Institute. Last year, Jordan played the role of Little Red in Into the Woods and has previously performed second spirit in Di Zauberflöte, Madame Thernardier in Les Misérables, has covered Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte, and performed in the 2024 chorus of La Boheme at Ft. Worth Opera.
