Biography

Kamron Glover

Born in Warner Robins, Ga., tenor, Kamron Glover has performed various operatic roles such as Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi, Ruggero in La Rondine, Sam Kaplan in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, Willie Stroker in the US premier of Choir Practice by Stephen Chatman, and Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni. Mr. Glover earned his Bachelor of Arts in music from Valdosta State University and his master's degree in Vocal Performance from Georgia Southern University. This summer he traveled as a young artist to the Kansas City Vocal Arts Intensive on a full scholarship where he worked with faculty from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Conservatory. Currently a member of Opera Mississippi’s Young Artist program, Kamron is enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi where he is pursuing his Doctoral degree in Vocal Performance and is a Graduate Teaching Assistant; studying under Dr. Jonathan Yarrington.
