Biography

Kate Pitt

Kate Pitt is a New York City-based dramaturg. She is a Dramaturg Apprentice in the Composer Librettist Development Program at American Lyric Theater and Resident Dramaturg for the Vanguard Initiative at Chicago Opera Theater. Theater work includes dramaturgy for the word premieres of "Hamlet’s Big Adventure (a prequel)" by the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Theresa Rebeck’s "Dig" at Dorset Theatre Festival and research assistance on "Bernhardt/Hamlet" (Broadway – Roundabout). Yale University: BA in History & Theater.
