Ms. Kotcherguina has given several chamber concerts and recitals with Duet Azure in Colorado, Arkansas, Russia, and France, and is an established solo performer in Colorado.

The main attraction for our Holiday concert is Vivaldi’s “Gloria”. From the genre of cantata-mass, this hybrid form is set for solo voices, choir, and orchestra. Textural contrast, expressive variety, and emotion arise from the words of the mass. Enjoy the beautiful sound of the Baroque style throughout this special holiday performance.

Boulder Opera presents an outdoor concert exploring Opera through the ages. Tracing Opera back to the 16th century, classical period, romantic period and all the way to the contemporary era, experience the history of opera 101 under the stars.
This family-friendly concert will feature some of Boulder’s most talented rising artists, performing classic arias and scenes from Handel, Mozart, Bellini, Verdi, Floyd, Heggie and more!

This family-friendly concert will feature some of Boulder’s most talented rising artists, performing classic scenes and choruses from Madama Butterfly, The Elixir of Love, Il Trovatore, and La Traviata.

Peitho, Phaino, and Polyxo have been living on this island for as long as they can remember. But now, their home is filling with garbage and flooded by rising waters. Can they break free from their pattern of being unfeeling, mythical creatures to understand their predicament and escape? Using extended piano techniques performed by the singers themselves, Here Be Sirens “blends beautiful music, terrifying noise, screwball comedy and Aristotelian tragedy” for a one-of-kind musical experience.
It's 1997, and "Giovanna's" is the hottest girl bar in town! Spend an evening in the bar with the irresistible owner Giovanna, and all the women whose lives she tries to ruin, while enjoying special brews from Diebolt Brewing.
Based off of Mozart's "Don Giovanni," with a new English translation by Corinne Denny, improvised and interactive scenes in place of recit, and an all-female cast.
Praised for her “fresh and exuberant” stage presence, Ekaterina Kotcherguina is a flexible performer, equally compelling when portraying light-hearted damsels or tragic heroines. She particularly enjoys the intimacy of the song recital, which provides the opportunity to juxtapose traditional repertoire with that of living composers.
Recent performances include Mahler’s 4th Symphony and Vivaldi’s Gloria with the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, Messiah with the Hot Springs Music Festival, Donna Elvira in Denver Immersive Opera’s production of Giovanna’s, concerts with the Boulder Bach Festival, as well as numerous chamber concerts with Duet Azure. In 2023 Ms. Kotcherguina was a Young Artist with Opera Company of Middlebury, and also made her German debut with Mozart’s Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro. In 2020, Ms. Kotcherguina stepped in to sing Musetta with Boulder Opera Company as a last minute replacement.
Ms. Kotcherguina has also performed Schubert’s Mass in G Major with the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, concerts with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, Boulder Opera Company, Seicento Baroque Ensemble, as well as chamber and solo recitals across the U.S. and Europe with Duet Azure.

Her 2024-2025 season engagements include Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus) in Germany, collaborations with Duet Azure, performances with the acclaimed German for Singers program with Middlebury College in Vermont, Mozart’s Requiem and an exciting recital schedule.
