Kayla Kramer
Kayla Kramer is an award-winning soprano from Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to her studies at Miami University and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, she received training at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. Favorite roles include "Gretel" in IUOT's production of, Hansel und Gretel, "Susanna" in Miami University's production of, The Marriage of Figaro as well as "Yvette" in, La Rondine.

Biography

Kayla Kramer

Kayla Kramer is a soprano, based out of Denver, Colorado. She was last seen as “Gretel”, in Indiana University Opera Theater’s performance of, Hänsel und Gretel in November 2022. Previous roles include, “Yvette” in La Rondine (Indiana University Opera Theater), “Susanna” in Le Nozze di Figaro (Miami University Opera Theater) and Miss Silverpeal in The Impresario (Miami University Opera Theater). Kramer spent her time last summer performing in the Cincinnati Opera Chorus for Aida. She has also spent a summer at the American Institute of Musical Studies where she participated in lieder and operetta concerts, as well as a masterclass with Barbara Bonney. Kramer looks forward to making her Opera Colorado debut this fall. Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Kramer completed her undergraduate degree in vocal performance at Miami University in 2020. Kramer has enjoyed studying with Carol Vaness over the last three years and recently completed her graduate degree at Indiana University.
