Biography

Kayleigh Tolley

Kayleigh Tolley is a Boston-based mezzo-soprano from Midcoast Maine. She recently made her role debut as Cherubino in Prague Summer Nights’ production of Le Nozze di Figaro, and will go on to perform as Meg in Adamo’s Little Women this fall at Boston Conservatory. Other recent roles include Dorabella in Boston Conservatory’s production of Così fan tutte, and Hänsel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel with Chicago Summer Opera, building on her operatic repertoire that includes Nancy in Albert Herring, La Zelatrice in Suor Angelica, and Fidalma in Il matrimonio segreto. She originated the role of Zandra in Melissa Dunphy’s Alice Tierney, making her professional debut at Opera Columbus. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory, where she earned a B.M. in Voice Performance, studying with Katherine Jolly, and a B.A. in Psychology. Kayleigh is currently pursuing her master's degree in Opera Performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, studying under Dr. Rebecca Folsom.
