Biography

Keaton Brown

Hailing from Houston, Texas, baritone Keaton Brown is establishing himself as a musical and versatile artist. In the 2024-25 season, Mr. Brown will be an Emerging Artist with Nashville Opera, where he will be seen as Boatswain in H.M.S Pinafore. He will also debut with Southeast Texas Symphony as the baritone soloist in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and he will return to DACAMERA Houston as a young artist for a second season. In the 2023-24 season, Mr. Brown performed the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the Seagle Festival and Guglielmo in Cosi Fan Tutte as a guest artist with Moores Opera Center at the University of Houston. On the concert stage, Mr. Brown was seen as the baritone soloist in Mozart’s Requiem with Mercury Chamber Orchestra. Recent notable highlights include Fredrik Egermann in A Little Night Music with the Seagle Festival, Il Notaio in Gianni Schicchi with Festival Napa Valley, and a role debut as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte. Mr. Brown received his Master of Music degree from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music and his Bachelor of Music degree from San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
