Kristina was a 2025 recipient of the Lynn-Craig Living Music Award, through which she will present the recital “Seasons of Life: Music of Alex Craig.” In March 2026, she will also present the recital “Rejoice, O Earth!” alongside principal organist Aaron Hirsch as part of the St. John’s Music Society recital series at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Boulder. She is currently working on recording a new song cycle by composer Blake Clawson called In the Silver Light with pianist David Reid. Recordings will be available in Spring 2026.
In summer 2025, Kristina sang the role of Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos with the Chicago Summer Opera program and joined the workshop cast of Sarah in the Theatre, a new opera by Mark Adamo, through the University of Colorado Boulder’s New Opera Workshop (CU NOW). Kristina is passionate about story-telling through music, especially through recital work. Her Master’s recital included two staged sections with props: Ophelia’s suicide scene from Thomas’s Hamlet and a thirteen-piece set by Hugo Wolf, which she selected and organized from the Mörike-Lieder and Italienisches Liederbuch. The Wolf set was stage directed by Madison Falkenstine. In spring 2024, Kristina sang selections from Ned Rorem’s Evidence of Things Not Seen alongside pianist Dr. Robert Pace and Francis Poulenc’s Banalités alongside pianist Gyuri Min.
Kristina’s other opera highlights include Billie Jean King from Balls by Laura Karpman with the Opera Reading Project in Minneapolis, Littler Daughter from Proving Up by Missy Mazzoli with Journey North Opera Company, and La Conversa from Suor Angelica and Pamina (cover) from Die Zauberflöte with the Berlin Opera Academy.
