Alice, a noted photographer, sets out to explore the topography of scars, and the women who bear them. Her journey takes her to the mysterious realm of an undiscovered folk artist, June, who is hiding herself away on a small farm in North Alabama. What begins as an artistic collaboration between the two women becomes an intimate exploration of love, grief, and longing. This bittersweet portrait explores the meaning and purpose of art and the struggle of the lost and tortured souls that seek to create it. Hilarious, heart-wrenching and full of theatrical magic, this play will make you laugh, rip your heart out, and remind you to hold the people in your life close.

Biography
Kristina Riegle's theatrical career highlights include in A Little Night Music, South Pacific, A Christmas Carol, Julius Caesar, Ragtime, Children of Eden, Candide, Ainadamar, Così fan Tutti, Cendrillon, Enchanted April the Musical, and Little Women. She has performed with The Kennedy Center, Washington National Opera, Resonance Works, Opera Boston, Boston Opera Collaborative, Reagle Music Theatre, Detroit Opera, Williamston Theatre, Encore Musical Theatre, and Meadow Brook Theatre. Kristina is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), and the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). She is the primary teacher of voice and acting studio Riegle Voice Studio LLC, and has taught at Wayne State University, Rochester University, and Next Step Broadway Michigan. Kristina's passion for creating theatre extends to her role as Managing Director and co-founder of Renaissance City Repertory Theatre @rcrepdetroit.
