(She/They) Houston based harpist Lily Primus is the Absolute First Prizewinner of the 2024 Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition. A rising classical musical talent, she will be a member of the Orchestral Program in Harp at the Aspen Music Festival for the 2024 season. Lily recently earned her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance and Minor in Jewish Studies at Rice University, and will continue studying at Rice in pursuit of her Master of Music in Harp Performance with esteemed harpist, Paula Page.
