Lyndsey Swann is a soprano from Orlando, Florida. She holds her Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Florida. She is currently a member of the Professional Development Program at Potomac Vocal Institute in Washington, D.C. Lyndsey has performed The Mother in Hansel and Gretel with Greensboro Opera, Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos with Miami Music Festival, Miss Pinkerton in The Old Maid and the Thief, The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Magda Sorel in The Consul (Gian-Carlo Menotti) with UNCG Opera Theatre as well as Madame Lidoine in The Dialogues of the Carmelites by Poulenc. In December of 2017, Lyndsey reprised her role as The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Touching Humanity Inc. Later that year, Lyndsey joined Musiktheater Bavaria for a second time in the beautiful town of Oberaudorf, Bavaria. Upon her return to the States, she won Second Place in the Rosen-Schaffel Young Artist Competition and the Heafner-Williams Vocal Competition. She has also become a Regional Finalist for the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in the Gulf Coast Region (2018) and the Southeastern Region (2020).
