Madison Barton-Holloway, soprano, is a proud Portland, Oregon native. She holds undergraduate degrees in Music Performance, French, and Business from Brigham Young University–Idaho (2022), and earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2025.
Her stage roles include Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Marie (La fille du régiment), Mme Herz (The Impresario), the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Harlequin (Triumph of Love), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Ilia (Idomeneo), and Girl 2 in the West Coast premiere of Errollyn Wallen’s Anon. On the concert stage, she has appeared as the soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Fauré’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, and Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem.
In addition to her performance career, Madison is the founder of Women of Opera, an organization dedicated to discovering, preserving, and performing operatic works by women composers. In 2024, she conducted a research tour across seven European cities to locate and digitize long-forgotten operas by women. This project culminated in a landmark recital in San Francisco in March 2025, marking the U.S. premiere of arias from each of these works.
She is also the co-founder and artistic director of Le Salon de Musique, a Utah-based nonprofit committed to cultivating the next generation of classical music lovers through intimate salon-style performances and a dynamic social media presence.
Outside of music, Madison enjoys snow sports, cross-stitching, and spending time with her 110-pound dog, Miles. She also performs regularly in a jazz duo with her husband around San Francisco and Portland, blending her classical training with a love for improvisation.
