Originally from Cape Breton, mezzo-soprano Mairi-Irene McCormack is a versatile performer and teacher based in Edmonton. She is a recent graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. As a soloist, she has recently been engaged by the Richard Eaton Singers, the Alberta Baroque Ensemble and New Music Edmonton. She is currently a member of Edmonton Opera’s Emerging Artists Studio, a sessional instructor of voice at the Concordia University of Edmonton and maintains a busy private teaching studio.
