An avid supporter of new opera, Margaret has directed world premieres, staged readings, and concert presentations of new compositions, and enjoys working with composers. As an Assistant Director and/or Stage Manager, Margaret has worked with The VORTEX, CAATA at Victory Gardens, Opéra Louisiane, Opera NEO, Opera Steamboat, Generic Ensemble Company, University of Texas Theater & Dance, and Butler Opera International voice competition. Margaret has trained in the Suzuki Method of Actor Training and Viewpoints with the SITI Company. As a directing student, Margaret was a Fellowship Director with Opera NEO, Opera Steamboat, and Chicago Summer Opera. She holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame, MM in Voice from Duquesne University and MM in Directing from the University of Texas at Austin, and DMA in Opera Directing from the University of Texas at Austin.
