Martín García León was born in the city of General Roca, Province of Río Negro in 1990, began his musical training studies at the 14 years. At 16 he decided to continue his studies at I.U.P.A. (Instituto Universitario Patagónico de las Artes) and at 21 he moved to the city of Buenos Aires where he will study piano and orchestral conducting at theU.N.A (National University of the Arts), graduating as a Bachelor in musical arts in orchestral conducting in 2017.

Biography

Martín García León

Martín García León was born in the city of General Roca, Province of Río Negro in 1990, began his musical training studies at the 14 years. At 16 he decided to continue his studies at I.U.P.A. (Instituto Universitario Patagónico de las Artes) and at 21 he moved to the city of Buenos Aires where he will study piano and orchestral conducting at theU.N.A (National University of the Arts), graduating as a Bachelor in musical arts with orientation in orchestral conducting in 2017.

In 2018 he won a contest for young directors to be able to attend the classes of Master Alexander Polyanichko in Saint Petersburg (Russia) and conducting the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, obtaining great acclaim from the Russian public with his interpretation of the 2nd Symphony of J. Sibelius.

In 2019 the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the city of Hanoi (Vietnam) approves his proposal for a concert along with the VNOB (Vietnam National Opera and Ballet) where the Master García León had under his baton more than 150 people in a commissioning scene that included the orchestra, solo singers, and the ballet staff. In October of the same year wins another position to meet again with the master Alexander Polyanichko and conducting the Moravian Philharmonic at the city of Olomouc (Czech Republic) where the Czech public applaud with great impetus for his interpretation of the 3rd symphony of J.Brahms.

Although in 2020 all his artistic activities were suspended. Currently he is about to finish his master’s degree in business administration (MBA) at Universidad Europea del Atlántico. Martín García León also develops activities as a teacher University at I.U.P.A. as well as activities that correspond to project management, is currently in charge of the Unit of Artistic development and projection that seeks to produce artistic material of high quality and then spread throughout the province of Rio Negro (Argentina).

Nowadays, Martin has been recently selected among more than 100 applicants to make a master degree in orchestral conducting at the University of Houston along with a very prestigious a T.A. which will allow him to work with Maestro Franz Anton Krager and Lawrence Edelson.
