Mason Kurtz
(He/Him) Mason Kurtz received his Bachelor of Music degree at Eastern Illinois University and is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree at DePaul University. 

Mason has experience in both opera and musical theatre. Previous roles include: Abel in Stephen Schwartz’s Children of Eden, Thomas Bouché in Kurt Weill's Down in the Valley, Monostatos in The Magic Flute; La théière in L’enfant et les sortileges, and premiered the role of Mikael Maier in Nick Johnson's Lilacs and Lilies.

Biography

Mason Kurtz

Mason Kurtz received his Bachelor of Music degree at Eastern Illinois University and is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree at DePaul University. 

Mason has experience in both opera and musical theatre. Previous roles include: Abel in Stephen Schwartz’s Children of Eden, Thomas Bouché in Kurt Weill's Down in the Valley, Monostatos in The Magic Flute; La théière in L’enfant et les sortileges, and premiered the lead role of Mikael Maier in Nick Johnson's Lilacs and Lilies at the Vienna Summer Music Festival. He has also covered and understudied various roles such as: Arpad, Kodaly and Sipos in She Loves Me, and Ferrando in Così fan tutte.
