Matteo Adams is an up and coming lyric bel canto tenor from Beaumont, Texas. Known for combining his “earnest purpose” together with his “creamy beauty of sound,” Paul Boudine, Matteo’s engagements include being a Studio Artist with Central City Opera, a two time Apprentice Artist with Sarasota Opera, an Emerging Artist with St. Petersburg Opera, and making his mainstage debut singing the role of Nemorino with Opera Neo. Others include competition placements with the Metropolitan Laffont Competition (Encouragement Award) and the American Prize(3rd Place).  A core chorus member with Opera Philadelphia and a renown soloist across the country, Matteo continues to bring stage presence and artistic excellence to the operatic stage nationwide.
