Matthew Parker is a barione local to the Dallas Fort Worth Area.  After High School where he was a part of the Texas All State Choir and part of the Madrigal Group and Varsity Choir, art Paschal High School,  Matthew was accepted to University of North Texas as a vocal performance major.  He received schlarships from the Music Deparment, the Choral Department, and the Opera Department.  He enjoyed studying with his voice teacher Dr. Stephen Austin and being a part of many operas while he was at UNT.  After school Matthew was unable to pursue music for financial reasons and worked full time in the business sector for many years. After being away from music for nearly a decade, Matthew missed singing and began to audition for the Fort Worth and Dallas Opera Chorus.  He now enjoys singing with both Opera Choruses and is currently studying voice with Nancy Elledge.  Matthew has an intense passion for singing opera and is currently looking to get more involved in singing by auditioning for young artist programs and opera roles.
