Maureen Morrissey, from Boulder, Colorado, is currently getting her bachelor's in Music Theater and Vocal Performance at Oklahoma City University. Recent opera roles include “Cherubino” in Le Nozze di Figaro, “Old Lady” in Strawberry Fields, “Mama McCort” and “Mama Tabor" in The Ballad Of Baby Doe, and Chorus in Die Lustigen Weiber Von Windsor. She has also portrayed “Mrs.Tottendale” in The Drowsy Chaperone, “Jack’s Mother” in Into the Woods, “Kira” in Xanadu, “Rona Lisa Paretti” In 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, “Bad Idea Bear” in Avenue Q, and “Vi” in Footloose. Maureen is a featured singer in the Jazz Ensemble at Oklahoma City University. She also has the pleasure of studying with professors Jeffrey Picon, Joe Fitzgerald and Chuck Koslowsky.
