(She/Her) Maya Behiri is an Israeli-American soprano who began her vocal training with HaZamir, performing at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. She studied at the Manhattan School of Music’s Pre-College Division. At Buchmann-Mehta, she performed as Dido and Countess Almaviva in the opera productions, won the 2024 Vocal Competition, and appeared with the Israel Philharmonic. She has sung under Lahav Shani and trained in masterclasses with Aaron Blake and Dan Ettinger.
