(They/Them) Megan Trach is an LA-based woodwind doubler who specializes in flute and piccolo. They currently play Reed 1 (flute, piccolo, clarinet, alto sax, sop sax, oboe) for the National Tour of MEAN GIRLS. They played Reed 1 (flute, piccolo, alto flute, clarinet) for the FIDDLER ON THE ROOF tour from 2022-2023. They received a Master's from the New England Conservatory in Flute Performance, and a Bachelor's (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Barnard College of Columbia University.

Biography

Megan Trach

Megan Trach is a graduate of the New England Conservatory, where they studied flute and piccolo performance with Cynthia Meyers, piccoloist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. They recently graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College of Columbia University, where they studied with Linda Chesis and Michael Parloff through Barnard’s lesson exchange program with the Manhattan School of Music. Throughout high school, they studied with Jim Walker.
