Nicole Magallón
A native of Katy, Texas, soprano Nicole Magallón was recently awarded first place in the Texas Tech University Concerto Competition. Recent roles include Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and Pitti-Sing in The Mikado, as well as Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors. Nicole has appeared as a Young and Emerging Artist with Taos Opera Institute in New Mexico, Music in the Marche in Italy, and the Berlin Opera Academy in Berlin, Germany.

Biography

Nicole Magallón

A native of Katy, Texas, soprano Nicole Magallón was most recently awarded first place in the Texas Tech University Concerto Competition. Her most recent roles include Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and Pitti-Sing in The Mikado with the Texas Tech Opera Theatre, as well as Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors. Equally at home in concert work, Nicole has appeared in various masterworks concerts as a member of the Houston Symphony Chorus as well as a soloist in Poulenc’s Gloria in 2015. Nicole has appeared as a Young and Emerging Artist with Taos Opera Institute in New Mexico, Music in the Marche in Italy, and the Berlin Opera Academy in Berlin, Germany. Nicole is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University. In the Spring of 2020, she appeared as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte with Texas Tech Opera Theatre. Now residing in New York City, she continues her education with esteemed Soprano, Diana Soviero. Currently, she is pursuing avenues in musical theatre, opera, and jazz.
