Biography

Nikos Warren

Nikos Warren, a Greek-American baritone, obtained his undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied under William Lewis and Dr. Liliana Guerrero. Currently, he is pursuing his graduate studies at DePaul University, where he is under the guidance of Dr. Chuck Chandler for his Master's degree. 

Mr. Warren's operatic repertoire includes Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, Wihlem in The Ghost of Versailles, Marchese in La Traviata, The Clock in  L'enfant et les sortiléges, Narmouv in Pique Dame, and Don Pedro Hinoyosa in La Périchole. Nikos as well has had a privillage of doing 2 world premiers, Audition Fever by Tzu-Chin Hsu playing the Title role Joe, Maria by Josiah Garza, and a United States piemiere of Le Faucon

As well as performing, Nikos Warren loves to teach students of all levels to help them discover their authentic sound through healthy, sustainable techniques. His teaching background is deeply rooted in SOVT exercises and evidence based techniques that help prioritize the health and longevity of the voice. Nikos Warren believes everyone should feel safe, seen, and celebrated as they develop their unique voice, helping singers of all backgrounds build worth while technique while honoring who you are as an artist and person.
