Olivia Cirisan (b. 2001) is a percussionist, composer, producer and educator living in Ann Arbor, MI. She comes from the small town of Frankenmuth, MI.
Passionate about both making music and teaching it, Olivia enjoys actively performing, writing and producing music, and teaching all ages of percussionists.
Olivia holds Bachelor of Music in Performance at the University of Michigan, and is currently pursuing a Masters there as well. Throughout her time here, she has been involved in various large ensembles, the University of Michigan Percussion Ensemble, non-Western music ensembles, and the Michigan Marching Band. Olivia is presently studying with Douglas Perkins, Ian Antonio, and Tom Sherwood, and has studied previously with Michael Gould, Jonathan Ovalle and Jeremy Epp.
