Raised in Los Angeles, Baltimore-based soprano Olivia Heaner holds a Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Music from the Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University. Notable engagements include Ms. Heaner’s recent performance as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and Katie in Cold Mountain in 2024 with the Seagle Festival, Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) with Peabody Opera Theatre, and the Witch (Hänsel und Gretel) in Peabody Opera Theatre’s Opera in Action program. Other roles in her repertoire include the titular role in Dvorák's Rusalka, Foreign Princess (Rusalka), The Old Lady (Candide), and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro). An active competitor, Ms. Heaner placed first in Peabody’s Art Song Competition and was a finalist in the Sylvia Green Concerto Competition, as well as a 2025 District winner in the Metropolitan Opera's Laffont Competition, and was a 2023 semifinalist in the Houston Grand Opera’s Eleanor McCollum Competition of Arias. Upcoming engagements include a second summer residency with the Seagle Festival, performing the role of Micaëla in Carmen. Ms. Heaner currently studies with tenor Jordan Schreiner.
