Emerging dramatic Mezzo-soprano Olivia Ottinger hails from the Hudson Valley. She was most recently seen in Boston, Massachusetts participating in the 2025 Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition as a Qualifying Winner. Over the summer, she was seen at TUNDI Production’s Wagner in Vermont Festival singing Zweite Norn in Götterdämmerung, covering Flosshilde in Das Rheingold, and singing Ortrud in concert. In New York she was seen as part of a PASS Artists Grant, singing the role of Giorgio Germont in an innovative production of La Traviata at Snug Harbor. She sang with Opera Magnifico in their production of Suor Angelica as La Suor Zelatrice and covered La Zia Principessa. In 2023 she was featured in Carnegie Hall’s education programming with New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, City Lyric Opera’s La Traviata covering Flora, Teatro Grattacielo’s La Vestale, New Amsterdam Opera’s Lucrezia Borgia, and Wagner in Vermont’s Die Walküre covering Waltraute.
