Biography

Pulip Han

Pulip Han is a soprano from Seoul, South Korea. She recently earned a Performance Certificate in Opera from Wichita State University and is beginning her Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice at the University of North Texas, Fall 2025, where she will be performing Morgana (Alcina) in Spring. 

Ms. Han made her professional debut as the 2nd Wood Sprite in Rusalka with the Wichita Grand Opera, and she has performed roles including Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Bianca (La Rondine), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica). An enthusiastic and dedicated performer, Ms. Han has been recognized in several competitions, including First Place in the NAFTZGER Young Artists Voice Division and an Encouragement Award from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. She was also the 2025 WSU Concerto Competition Winner at Wichita State University, where she received her Graduate Certificate with a Teaching Assistant Fellowship. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance Degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and Bachelor's Degree in Voice from Hanyang University.
