Rees Taylor Roberts has been Organist & Choirmaster at Saint Luke’s Episcopal (Arkansas), interned at Saint Paul’s K Street (DC) and Church of the Advent (Boston), and has been organ scholar at four Royal School of Church Music summer conferences. Recently, he was a National Competition in Organ Accompaniment finalist, sponsored by the D.C. chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He is presently a member of the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Anglican Musicians.

Biography

Rees Taylor Roberts

A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rees Taylor Roberts is currently a student at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, studying organ performance with Janette Fishell. He earned his Bachelors from Arizona State, where he studied with Kimberly Marshall. Additionally, he has studied organ with Jonathan Moyer and R. Craig Chotard, piano with Julie Cheek and Baruch Meir, and harpsichord with W. Webb Wiggins. At Indiana, Roberts sings in the school's award winning chamber choir, NOTUS, under the direction of Dominick DiOrio, which was recently featured at the conference of the American Choral Directors’ Association (ACDA), where he both sang and accompanied. While at Arizona State, Roberts was featured as an organist with both the school’s symphony orchestra, and wind ensemble. Previously, he served as Organist & Choirmaster at Saint Luke’s Episcopal (North Little Rock, Arkansas), interned as organ scholar at both Saint Paul’s K Street (DC) and the Church of the Advent (Boston), and has been organ scholar at four Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) summer conferences. Recently, he was named a finalist in the National Competition in Organ Accompaniment, sponsored by the D.C. chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He is presently a member of the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Anglican Musicians.
