Regan Poarch

Mezzo-Soprano Regan Poarch Regan Poarch, an Encouragement Winner in the Arkansas District of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, is a distinguished mezzo-soprano whose passion for singing has driven her to achieve remarkable milestones in her young career.

​Regan started private voice lessons at 12, exploring both musical theatre and classical techniques before dedicating herself to opera. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she earned a dual degree in Voice and International Studies with a focus on human rights, diplomacy, security, and governance, graduating in 2021.

​Regan’s most recent performances include the ensemble of Sweeney Todd, Stephano in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, Prince Charmant in Massenet's Cendrillon, and the title role in Pauline Viardot's Cendrillon. Her diverse repertoire includes roles such as Ottavia, Erika, Romeo, Charlotte, Béatrice, and Octavian.

​Regan’s extensive training includes a Performer Diploma and Master of Music in Voice from Indiana University, and she has been a Young Artist at the Trentino Music Festival and CoOPERAtive program. She has worked with renowned teachers, coaches, conductors, and directors, including Jane Dutton, Michael Shell, Kevin Murphy, Arthur Fagen, and Crystal Manich.

​With each performance, Regan Poarch continues to captivate audiences and establish herself as a dynamic and versatile presence in the operatic world. She is thrilled to continue her growth as a young artist and looks forward to future opportunities.
