Hailing from Bellingham Washington, mezzo-soprano Rosamund Dyer has been described as a “powerhouse” possessing “beauty and depth”. Most recent operatic appearances include the Marquise of Berkenfield (La fille du régiment), Eustazio (Rinaldo), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Third Little Pig (Who's Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?), Alise (Lucia di Lammermoor), and Nourabad (Les pêcheurs de perles). She was awarded third place (2024) and second place (2025) in the Seattle Opera Guild’s Annual Singers’ Development Competition. She was the Studio Artist at Pacific Northwest Opera for their 2024-2025 season, covering Dame Quickly (Falstaff), Ježibaba (Rusalka), and Foreign Princess (Rusalka). Rosamund was featured with the Bellingham Chamber Chorale’s performance of Handel’s Messiah, and sang all of the baritone solos in their recently reimagined Fauré’s Requiem. A 2025 Studio Artist with the Chautauqua Opera Company, Rosamund was seen as Mrs. McNeil (Ida by Lamplight), and as Mrs. Baron alongside soprano Christine Georke in composer Missy Mazzoli and librettist Royce Vavkrek’s newest The Metropolitan Opera commission, Lincoln in the Bardo. Additionally, she was the alto soloist in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra and the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus.
