Lyric soprano Rose Iannuzzi, a Detroit native, made her highly anticipated debut this summer at the Trentino Music Festival in Italy, starring as Beth March in the Italian premiere production of Mark Adamo’s Little Women. The opera was conducted by the esteemed Maestro J. David Jackson of The Metropolitan Opera and directed on stage by Robin Piper.
Rose graduated in spring 2025 with her Master of Music degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Timothy Noble. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and is an alumna of the Interlochen Arts Academy.
Her repertoire includes notable roles such as Seconda Cercatrice in Suor Angelica at Indiana University, Erste Dame and Pamina cover in Die Zauberflöte at the Manhattan School of Music, and Nora in Riders to the Sea by Vaugh Williams at Interlochen. She has also performed as the Soprano Historicus soloist in Carissimi’s Jepthe at Indiana University and appeared in operatic scenes from Anna Bolena, Mireille, Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro, and Cendrillon.
Rose has refined her language skills and artistry through studies in Italy and France with Classic Lyric Arts, embracing European operatic traditions. Her musical journey began performing in Michigan bar venues and community theater, igniting her passion for live performance. Today, she brings heartfelt storytelling to opera stages and concert halls worldwide, captivating audiences with her lyrical voice and deep emotional connection.
