Ryan Kirk

Whether bringing roles to life in Europe or stoking uproarious laughter in America, globe-trotting young Tenor Ryan Dennis Kirk never fails to entrance and engage audiences from entrance to exeunt. Ryan’s vast operatic engagements encompass Verdi’s Rigoletto, Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte and beyond, as recently he dazzled audiences with his “earnest and heartfelt” performance in the title role of Candide. He is equally in demand interpreting musical theatre repertoire as he is on the operatic stage having performed roles such as Seymour Krelborn (Little Shop of Horrors) and Anthony Hope (Sweeney Todd). In addition to these roles Ryan directed and starred in the touring men’s a capella group “Hat Trick” for four years before moving from central Florida to Chicago. Since arriving in the windy city Ryan has made himself a mainstay in the sacred music space having sung in Parishes across the greater Chicagoland area and can currently be found every Sunday at St. Clement of Lincoln Park. He as well continues his work beyond the city limits in his continued engagements with such establishments Florentine Opera of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Vero Beach Opera of Vero Beach, Florida. When not on stage Ryan can be found supporting adults with disabilities through his work with local non-profit Garden Center Services.
