Sara Stejskal

Ms. Stejskal was most recently seen as The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Idaho Falls Opera and soprano soloist for Théodore Dubois’ The Seven Last Words of Christ at St. John’s Cathedral in honor of their Centennial. Upcoming roles include Kitty Hart in Opera Idaho’s Dead Man Walking in 2022 In 2017, she played Jack’s Mother (Into the Woods) in Oahu, where she received a Po’okela Award for her performance. International roles include Contessa Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) and Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) Other notable roles include Sieglinde (Die Walküre), Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde), Maddalena in (Rigoletto) Arminda (la finta giardiniera), Chrysolthemis (Elektra), Knusperhexe (Hänsel und Gretel), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), and many more.
