An international vocal performer, art advocate, creative cultural producer, conversational curator, and author of The Art Economic Empowerment Workbook & Take Charge. She is a change-maker in the nonprofit and creative cultural sector, an avant-gardist using arts & culture to connect communities, highlight emerging artists, and amplify underrepresented voices. As an independent consultant and speaker, she uses multiple platforms to empower underserved populations.

Shekhinah B. is a dynamic recording artist and songwriter that has over 15 years of performance experience in diverse musical capacities. In 2022, she was honored with a historical citation award by the City Council of the City of Philadelphia for successful execution of the Art Economic Empowerment Initiative. A grant recipient of the Black Music City Award, the Encore Music Award, and an Image Award. Her vocal genres include Jazz, Soul, Blues, Pop, Funk, House, and R&B. In 2022, she performed in a 50-piece Public Orchestra under the musical direction of Anthony Tidd incorporating original compositions from notable composers such as Ursula Rucker, Xenia Rubinos, Ari Benjamin, Ann Carlson, Marshall Allen & DM Hotep of The Sun Ra Arkestra.
