Sidney Grimm is a 24-year-old lyric soprano from Olympia, WA, currently based in Denver, CO, performing mainly in opera, operetta, and musical theatre. She graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Washington University in 2023, studying in the studio of Dr. Gayla Blaisdell. In 2025, she earned her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder, studying with Jennifer Bird-Arvidsson and Julie Simson, with vocal coaches Dr. Jeremy Reger and Dr. Mutsumi Moteki.
This summer, Sidney performed in CU Boulder's opera program CU Now, in an in-the-works Mark Adamo opera, SARAH IN THE THEATER. Directly following this, she attended the Seagle Festival, making her role debut as Valeria in the second-ever production of MAYO BUCKNER (A LIFE INTERRUPTED) by Tom Cipullo, and Virtue in ANYTHING GOES. Other roles include Gretel in HÄNSEL UND GRETEL, Littler Daughter in Missy Mazzoli's PROVING UP, Kate in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, Susanna in a scene from LE NOZZE DI FIGARO at CU Boulder, and Cupid in ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD at Central Washington University.
In her free time, Sidney enjoys keeping up on her piano skills, taking road trips, and spending time with her loved ones.
