Simone Clotile (klo•teel) is a Detroit native who started singing when she was three, and began writing songs at the age of seven. She released two original EPs, “Healing Letters" and "Transparency", prior to studying at The University of Michigan. She began acting in the sixth grade when she joined Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, and remained a dedicated member until she graduated. Through this internationally acclaimed program, she had her Off-Broadway debut at The Public Theatre. She is now a junior at The University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, earning her BFA in Theatre Performance with concentration in Acting and a minor in Creative Writing. She is now pursuing a career in music ministry as a worship leader, and has sung at multiple churches, including Soul City Church in Chicago, Cru Music in Indianapolis, Radiant Church in Ann Arbor, and Greater Christ Baptist Church in Detroit. After graduating in May of 2023, she will be a full-time worship resident.
